An Unusual Football Club

The project is an ongoing weekly initiative that operates year-round at the Beit Shemesh branch.

Each week, 25 of our special older participants, aged 18–28, meet with their personal mentors for a 90-minute football training session led by a professional coach. In addition, throughout the year, the group participates in games and outdoor activities.

The participants receive guidance and learn the rules of the game, with an emphasis on the importance of physical activity and the personal connection between the participants with special needs and their mentors. The program also focuses on developing social skills and fostering personal relationships.
