David Lightner ,AKA "Dugo" , RIP, used to celebrate his own victory ✌ on the Nazies.
Every Year, on January 18th he would had a feast of Falafel - which his mother discribed to him on her deathbed and as they were starving and tormented in the ghetto.

With this meal Dugo celebrated life and Israel.

His personal custom inspired many more in Israel, and Tzur -Hadsa Play Center 
celebrated Dugo legacy in a festive Falafel dinner of their own.
